Summary
A large Derby group of a pair of lovers, c.1800. She seated, in a black hat, floral skirt with yellow overskirt and pale blue waistcoat over a white bodice. He, kneeling and bending round her, in purple breeches and turquoise jacket with pink trimmings. His black hat on the flower encrusted bank. Incised '176' and Derby pad marks. Extensive repairs.
