Summary
A Sitzendorf figure of an 18th century town crier in a white edged black tricorn hat and wearing a pale yellow coat painted with sprigs of flowers, a sheaf of papers in his bosom, a small note in his left hand and a multicoloured declaration in his right. Scrolled base with openwork. Crossed swords mark with 'S' in underglaze blue and impressed '8'.
