Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on ivory, Colonel the Hon. Henry Arthur Cole, MP (1809-1890) by Samuel Lover (Dublin 1797 – Jersey 1868). 1833. Rectangular. Head and shoulders portrait of a man in a blue smoking jacket, yellow waistcoat, black neckcloth, and white shirt. Light brown eyes, fair wavy hair and moustache, agfed 24. Plum coloured background. Heny Cole (1809-1890) was the 2nd son of the 2nd Earl of Enniskillen; he was a colonel in the 7th Hussars, and then in the 12th Foot; MP for Enniskillen 1844-1851 and Fermanagh 1855-1880; died unmarried.
