Summary
Print, coloured aquatint etching, North West View of Waterloo Bridge over the River Conway (after George Arnald) by Edmund Turrell (fl.early/mid 19th century). The bridge by Thomas Telford A.R.A., first edition, early 19th century, in maplewood veneer frame. Additionally handcoloured at publication by E.Turrell and W.Bennet after G.Arnauld A.R.A. Telford's bridge at Bettwys-y-Coed was constructed 1815 during the building of the Holyhead Road, using best Shropshire iron from Hazledene at Ironbridge.
