Summary
A carved giltwood console table, English, circa 1840. Wall-mounted and with a serpentine moulded green veined marble top, the friezes carved with foliage, rocaille and shells, raised on in-curved supports with trailing flowerheads which issue from a single triform foliate collar and monopodia foot.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Mrs C.V. Lawson in 1981.
