Summary
One of a pair of bird's eye maple corner tea tables, North European, circa 1820-1850. Each hinged and reeded top crossbanded in rosewood, the friezes chequer-strung in stained sycamore, raised on square tapering legs inset with ebonised flutes and with outswept feet, when put together back to back they form a circular table.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Dame Joan Evans DBE in 1978.
