Summary
A large mahogany extending dining table, English, circa 1850. The top with a moulded edge and rounded ends, currently with three additional leaves, raised on turned tapering legs headed with boldly carved foliage and scrolls, terminating in a stylised foliate collar and brass castors, with an additional central support leg, also with central iron hot plate cut into the centre of the table top.

Purchased by the National Trust from Lord Cawley in 1997.
