Summary
A figured walnut and crossbanded vitrine or bijouterie table, English, circa 1860. With serpentine hinged and glazed moulded top above shaped friezes, standing on cabriole legs headed with gilt metal foliate mounts and terminating in sabots.
Provenance
Amongst the chattels collected by the Cawley family for Berrington Hall. Purchased by the National Trust from Sir Frederick Lee Cawley, 3rd Baron Cawley in 2001.
