Summary
A pair of wooden folding window shutters, each shutter comprised of six individual sections and with fourteen recessed panels on the window facing side. The woodwork has mock painted graining on it imitating mahogany in keeping with the decorative scheme for the room. The shutters have associated furniture of: 30 hinges; 3 locking bars (2 long and 1 short); four holding brackets for the locking bars and two ‘T’ shaped knob locks.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
