Summary
Monochrome photograph showing William Stokes Hulton standing in the garden of a villa holding a newspaper in his right hand and his hat in his left. There are buildings to the right hand side of the photograph and a tub containing flowers. On the left hand side there are some railings. In the centre of the page at the left margin under the first photograph on page 15 “Florence 1919” is written in pencil. Photograph Number 44 of 232, on Page 15 in Volume 4 of Edith Teresa Hulton's Personal Photograph Albums 1919 - 1926 (CMS item number 610190.1). William Stokes Hulton (1852 – Venice 1921) was the father of Edith Teresa, Lady Berwick. He was a painter, whose artist friends included Walter Sickert and John Singer Sargent.
