Summary
A monochrome photograph of Edith Teresa Hulton dressed all in white and holding an opened parasol over her left shoulder. She is standing on a stone pier or jetty. At the right of the photo, water is visible and to the rear is a wooded hillside. Tenace, her dog, can be seen standing to Edith Teresa's right. Written in pencil below photograph: 'Stresa July 1909'. Photograph 49 of 227 contained in Volume 3 of Costanza Hulton’s personal photograph albums (1906 - 1919). Edith Teresa Hulton became Lady Berwick when she married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919. This photograph was taken at Stresa on Lago Maggiore, northern Italy. See also National Trust Inventory Numbers 610177.49 and 610177.51.
