Summary
A monochrome photograph of Edith Teresa Hulton. She is standing in a potting shed, dressed all in black and wearing a wide brimmed black hat. She is looking to her left and next to her Tenace her dog is sitting on a bench next to a potted plant. Written in pencil below photograph: 'May 1909 done by Gio'. Photograph 43 of 227 contained in Volume 3 of Costanza Hulton’s personal photograph albums (1906 - 1919). Edith Teresa Hulton became Lady Berwick when she married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919. This photograph was taken by Gioconda Mary “Gio” Hulton (1887-1940), Edith Teresa’s elder sister. See also National Trust Inventory Numbers 610177.41, 610177.42 and 610177.45.
