Summary
Monochrome photograph of Edith Teresa Hulton sitting aboard a sandolo on a canal. She is dressed all in white and is holding an opened parasol. To the rear of the boat can be seen a building and some steps where some people are looking out over the water. Two moored gondolas are also in view. Written in pencil below photograph: 'Bim July 07'. Photograph 14 of 227 contained in Volume 3 of Costanza Hulton’s personal photograph albums (1906 - 1919). 'Bim' is short for Bimbele, the family nickname for Edith Teresa Hulton. She became Lady Berwick when she married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919. The location is Campo SS Giovanni e Paolo, in front of the bridge off Fondamenta Dandolo. See also National Trust Inventory Number 610177.14.
