Summary
Faded monochrome photograph of Edith Teresa Hulton, dressed in white and standing in a garden, surrounded by plants and flowers. Written in pencil above photograph: 'Bim in the Johnston’s garden' and in pencil below photograph: 'July 1907 by Mrs Hatton'. Photograph 9 of 227 contained in Volume 3 of Costanza Hulton’s personal photograph albums (1906 - 1919). 'Bim' is short for Bimbele, the family nickname for Edith Teresa Hulton. She became Lady Berwick when she married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919. The location of this photograph is the garden of the Palazzo Contarini dal Zaffo in Venice, property of John Humphreys Johnstone and his wife Anne. The name of the photographer was Enid Hatton.
