Summary
A monochrome photograph of Edith Teresa Hulton (1890-1972) leaning out of an open window and playing with her small dog Torà which is sitting on the window sill. Written in ink underneath the photograph: 'Munich'. Photograph 34 of 134 contained in Volume 2 of Costanza Hulton's personal photograph albums (1901 - 1906). 'Bim' is short for Bimbele, the Hulton family nickname for Edith Teresa Hulton. She became Lady Berwick when she married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919. This photograph was taken by Edith Teresa's father William Stokes Hulton (Emberton, Bucks 1852 – Venice 1921) in the German city of Munich. The writing underneath this photograph is part of a sentence that is spread across the 5 photos on pages 12 and 13 of the album. The full sentence reads: 'Bim & Torà done by Willy Munich May 1903'.
