Summary
A monochrome photograph of Costanza (‘Zina’) Hulton (née Mazini) (1863-1939) sitting in a chair with her daughter Edith Teresa Hulton (1890-1972) aged 3 standing next to her. Written in ink underneath the photograph 'Zina & Bimbele March 1894' and 'U. Rombo'. Photograph 47 of 102 contained in Volume 1 of Costanza Hulton's personal photograph albums (1886 - 1901). Costanza (‘Zina’) Hulton was the wife of William Stokes Hulton (1852-1921); Edith Teresa Hulton became Lady Berwick when she married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30th June 1919. 'Bimbele' was EdithTeresa Hulton’s family nickname. The photographer was Ugo Rombo, a Venetian admiral. The photograph was taken at the Hulton family home in Venice. Their address was Calle della Testa 6383, San Zanipolo and the family referred to the house as Casa Hulton; it was previously known as Ca’ Donà dalle Rose.
