Summary
A monochrome photograph of Gioconda Mary Hulton (1887-1940) and her younger sister Edith Teresa Hulton (1890-1972) standing on circular area of grass next to a tree or bush. Gioconda is on the left and Edith Teresa is holding a ball. Written in ink underneath the photograph 'Gioconda & Bimbele'. Photograph 39 of 102 contained in Volume 1 of Costanza Hulton's personal photograph albums (1886 - 1901). Gioconda Mary Hulton and Edith Teresa Hulton, later Lady Berwick, were the daughters of William Stokes Hulton (1852-1921) and Costanza (Zina) Hulton (née Mazini) (1863–1939); Edith Teresa Hulton married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919.'Bimbele' was the Hulton family nickname for Edith Teresa Hulton.See also National Trust Inventory Numbers 610136.38 and 610136.39.
