Summary
A monochrome photograph of Gioconda Mary Hulton (1887-1940), aged approximately 4 years, wearing a light-coloured dress and a wide-brimmed hat and holding some flowers. She is standing on some steps. Written in ink underneath the photograph 'Gioconda 1891'. Photograph 24 of 102 contained in Volume 1 of Costanza Hulton's personal photograph albums (1886 - 1901). Gioconda Hulton was the elder sister of Edith Teresa Hulton, later Lady Berwick. This photograph is believed to have been taken by Baron Rothschild's servant.
