Summary
Hand held face screen with rectangular board with concave corners and ebonised handle. Wash-coloured print (in 3 strips) of classical italianate villa in a mountainous landscape. Wide grisaille border with rabbits and dog in woodland. Gilt borders. Manufactured by A.Giroux et Cie, St.Honore (Rue du Coq), Paris, circa 1830.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
