Summary
Three French hand held face screens, each consisting of a flat oblong board with concave corners and turned ebonised handle. Hand coloured prints decorate each face screen, in the centre of which is a cut out rectangle for a sliding picture. Gilt edging. A small printed maker's label pasted on the reverse bears the maker's details: 'A.Giroux and Cie. Rue du Coq St.Honore a Paris'. Circa 1830.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
