Summary
Two commemorative medals by T. Halliday, one cast in bronze and the other in steel, to commemorate the November 12th 1841 Parliamentary election. Cast in relief depicting a view from the English Bridge in Shrewsbury, across the River Severn to Shrewsbury Abbey, Sir Rowland Hill's column with the Wrekin visible in the background. Inscribed with the names of twelve Shropshire MPs: Forrester; Whitmore; Tomline; Ackers; Darlington; Hill; Gore; Clive; Disraeli; Botfield; Pigot and Gaskell.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
