Summary
Early 19th century oval mourning locket in a hinged gold frame with bright cut leaf decoration and hanging loop. Contains two oval ivory plaques. A memorial urn of woven hair trimmed with gold and pearls, set in an avenue of trees. The other with two classical maidens. Both plaques bear the initials W V.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
