Summary
One of a set of four Italian bronze medal clasps, each with bar decorated with overlapping laurel leaf design, tied with ribbon dated 1915, 1916, 1917 and 1918. Kept in an original paper envelope, which is printed with the following inscription: STUDIO D'INCISIONI ALESSANDRO SANTI Fu ANTONIO Fornitore della Real Casa S.Marco Spadaria N.661-65-66 VENEZIA.
Provenance
Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
