Summary
Circular silver plated medallion cast in relief by Ottley of Birmingham in 1856 with an illustration of various fowl in a farmyard. The reverse engraved with an inscription set in a wreath of corn: BIRMINGHAM and MIDLAND COUNTIES CATTLE and POULTRY SHOW ESTABLISHED 1849 To The Rt.Hon.Lord Berwick for Golden Spangled Hamburgh Chickens Class 4 1856.
Provenance
5th Lord Berwick collection: Richard Noel-Hill, 5th Baron Berwick (1800-1861). By descent bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
