A pair of spectacles with rolled gold frame with octagonal crystal lenses cut with bi-focals, curled sprung earpieces. Kept in the original black leather case with green velvet lining. Supplied by W.J. Jones of Shrewsbury circa 1940.
Belonged to Major Egeston-Hine, The Old Hall, Dorrington, Shropshire. A gift to the National Trust from Mr Fred Weaver, 30 Hadley Park Road, Hadley, Telford on 14th August 1996.
