Summary
Spotted muslin lavender bag. White cotton spotted muslin. Silk yellow reversed to white silk satin ribbon 05 mm. Hand sewn tied with ribbon and filled with dried lavender. Circa 1930.
Provenance
Found in linen chest tray amongst Lady Berwick's lace and costume ATT/TC/154-211. At the bottom was a sheet from 'Saturday NEWS CHRONICLE August 26, 1939'. 8th Lady Berwick collection; bequeathed to the National Trust by Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972).
