Summary
Beaded court train. Mauve silk satin weave, embroidered with glass beads bugle and round, silver sequins. Design; at shoulder and hem triangle made up of geometric shapes. Border down sides straight and scalloped. See above embroidery; and two tassels beaded 115 mm. a) Mauve silk crepe plain weave; b) self fabric at hem. Four press-studs to be attached at shoulder and falling straight to hem. Lined throughout. Made in London circa 1920 and worn by 8th Lady Berwick.
