Summary
Pink rubber and rayon stays, trimmed with hook and eye fastening, three bones, small protecting pad and four suspenders. Possibly made in England, circa 1930. Part of an evening dress ensemble worn by 8th Lady Berwick. Hand written note by Lady Berwick reads 'Evening Dress made for me by Peter Russell in 1931. Pair of shoes to match - rubber stays, flesh coloured stockings - pink crepe de chine knickers - silver coatee'.
