Summary
Cream silk trimmed evening skirt. As ATT/TC/066/1. As ATT/TC/066/1 a) and c). As ATT/TC/066/1 c) and d). Flounce c) pleated and pinked 150 mm, stiffened with dressed white cotton open mesh; tea coloured dressed organdie flounce pleated 160 mm, edged with cream cotton bobbin lace 13 mm,cream silk ribbon 22 mm;hook and eye. Gathered into waist trimming flounces cascading to hem, small train at back. Made in Venice in 1905, possibly by Emilia Put, as the Coming-Out Dress of Miss Gioconda Hulton (1887-1940), sister of Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972). and worn for the first time at a Ball given by Contessa Albrizzi.
