Summary
Part of a three piece set of Shropshire Yeomanry uniform: uniform trousers. a) four buttons 15 mm diam; b) one button 15 mm diam 'Winter and Tracy London W'; c) seven buttons 18 mm diam 'Anderson St James St W'; d) buckle 'British Made'; e) braid self coloured as edging. a) Cream cotton plain weave; b) mid brown linen plain weave; c) cream cotton satin weave. Hand and machine sewn. Made for 8th Lord Berwick, who served as a Captain of the Shropshire Yeomanry, by Winter and Tracy of London, circa 1914.
