Summary
Black dress waistcoat. a) Foreparts. Black worsted, 'Barathea'; b) back. Black silk satin weave. a) four black buttons 12 mm diam and buttonholes; b) metal buckle 'British Make'. a) As back fabric; b) cream silk satin weave; c) black cotton twill weave. Hand and machine sewn, shawl collar. Back strap, two pockets. Made for 8th Lord Berwick by Anderson and Son of St. James's Place, London, with handwritten label: 'The Lord Berwick 8.10.29'.
