Summary
Black morning coat. Black wool twill weave. a) three black buttons 19 mm diam; b) eight black buttons 14 mm diam; c) coat hanger. a) Black silk twill weave ridge with padded areas; b) brown cotton twill weave; c) cream cotton satin weave printed in brown and silver stripes. Hand and machine sewn; indented reverse; curved front to back vent; inside breast pocket; two vent pockets. Made for 8th Lord Berwick by Anderson and Son of St. James's Place, London; handwritten label reads: 'The Lord Berwick 21 8 25'.
