Summary
Black frock coat. Black wool twill weave. a) eight black silk basket weave buttons 19 mm diam; b) four ditto 15 mm diam; c) black silk satin weave on lapels; d) coat hanger; e) two black cotton satin buttons 19 mm diam. a) As trimming c); b) black silk twill weave ridge; c) brown cotton twill weave; d) white and blue silk twill weave stripes. One inside breast pocket; two vent pockets; hand and machine sewn. Reverse, double breasted. Made for 8th Lord Berwick, with matching waistcoat, by Lesley and Roberts of Hanover Square, London, circa 1900.
