Summary
Black morning coat. Black wool twill herringbone raised nap. Two linked and two single buttons 20 mm diam. a) Black silk twill weave ridge with padded areas; b) white and black cotton twill weave stripe; c) black cotton twill weave. Hand and machine sewn, one inside and one outside breast pocket. Revers front curved to back tail/vent. Made for 8th Lord Berwick by Harrison and Martin Ltd. of St. James's Street, London; handwritten on manufacturer's label is 'Lord Berwick 15.2.37'.
