Summary
Blue dress coat. Dark blue wool raised nap. a) eight gilt buttons 25 mm diam; b) six gilt buttons 15 mm diam; c) dark blue velvet on collar; d) coat hanger. a) Black silk twill weave ridge with padded areas; b) white cotton plain weave; c) cream silk twill weave. Hand and machine sewn. Cut away at waist to tails; two inside breast pockets, two tail pockets. Made for 8th Lord Berwick by Lesley & Roberts of Hanover Square, London, circa 1903.
