Summary
Tricolor flag of Italy with crossed shield. Worsted; a) dyed blue; b) scarlet; c) green; d) undyed. Machine sewn, in three sections, green and scarlet either end, centre undyed with blue shield and cream cross on scarlet ground. Hemmed with sisal thread one end. Made in Italy or England circa 1900.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
