Summary
One of two tight covers to a footstool. The cover is made of light green eau-de-nil damask, woven a design of white doves with pink bills in a wreath with a large vase of pink and white roses. The damask is of 19th century English manufacture. The footstool frame is numbered 608166.3.2 or ATT/F/060/3/B
Provenance
Believed to be 3rd Lord Berwick collection: William Noel-Hill, 3rd Baron Berwick (1773-1842). By descent bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
