Summary
Woven damask fragment or panel. Coral/red silk/beige cotton, 18th cent baroque source, one selvage; machine sewn hem one side; over sewn one side; frayed one side; two eyelets at top (for hanging?). Woven damask; coral red/2 shades, silk warp; beige cotton weft of heavier count; warp faced satin ground, unbalanced plain weave motifs. Loom width (?). Repeat not complete; 18th century baroque source; floral. English manufacture circa 1900.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
