Summary
One striped loose cover to an armchair. Part of a set of 18 items of striped cotton fabric. Similar to the covers for the first four open armchairs in the series except for the shape. The seat only has calico as originally the chair must have had a squab. English manufacture circa 1920.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
