Summary
Two plain cylindrical silver soufflé dishes with ridged rim and engraved with the Berwick coat of arms. Maker's mark for Philp Rundell, London, 1819. In 1797 Rundell & Bridge (Philip Rundell and John Bridge) were appointed one of the goldsmiths and jewellers to King George III and in 1804 were given the position of principal royal goldsmiths and jewellers. They were joined by Edmond Waller Rundell, a nephew of Philip, who became a partner in 1803, and the firm changed its name to Rundell, Bridge and Rundell.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
