Summary
Circular silver entrée dish and cover with shaped reed and tie border. Additional interior dish, lobed cover fitted with foliate scroll handle. Engraved inscription to cover: 'PRESENTED TO Colonel The Honble W Noel Hill upon his retiring from THE SHROPSHIRE MILITIA as a token of the esteem and affection of his Brother Officers 1855'. Makers' marks for Smith and Nicholson of Duke Street, London, 1855.
