Summary
Oval silver tea urn with gadrooned rim, turned wooden finial to separate lid, reeded spout with tap and wooden finial. Entwined snake supports to wooden handle. Plain body engraved with the Noel crest and arms of Hill and Noel quarterly. Accompanied by an oval stand, a wick holder frame and a wick holder. Maker's mark for John Eames, London, 1805.
Provenance
Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
