Summary
Portrait miniature, watercolour on ivory, Prince Eugene de Beauharnais (1781-1824) after Jean-Baptiste Isabey (Nancy 1767 – Paris 1855). Signed and dated 1808. Head and shoulder portrait of a man, turned to the left, his head to the right. Wearing blue cloak draped across shoulders, high collar with gold border and white stock. Glazed in oval gilt metal frame with hanging hook.
