Daguerreotype photograph on glass, An Unknown Gentleman, possibly Richard Beard (East Stonehouse, Devon 1801 - 1885), circa 1841/45. 19th century. A small monochrome head and shoulder portrait with arched top of a middle aged gentleman, turned to the left and wearing a dark coat, waistcoat, white shirt and black cravat.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
