Summary
Two 19th century oval shaped iron cauldrons with overall notched handles and separate lids with handles. Manufactured by J. and J. Siddons Ltd. of West Bromwich, Staffordshire. Circa 19th Century. Manufacturers name and cauldron sizes marked on sides of cauldrons, with manufacturers name also on the handle of one of the lids and the size of one cauldron impressed inside its lid.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust from the builder working at Moseley Old Hall, Wolverhampton. Transferred to Attingham Park by Moseley Old Hall for display in the restored kitchen, circa 1998/9.
