Summary
A painted cast iron 'Fern and Blackberry' pattern cast iron garden seat, English, last half of the 19th century, by Coakbrookdale Iron Foundry, of Coalbrookdale, Shropshire. Cast with sprays of ferns, the seat of six oak slats. Painted green.
Provenance
Attingham collection; bequeathed with the estate, house and partial contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877 - 1947) and transferred to the National Trust on 15th May 1953.
