Summary
Early 19th century rectangular cast iron fender, front horizontal bar with finial ends raised on central scroll cartouche and two dolphin supports; scroll sides with dog's head terminals; corner cherubs holding torches on circular gadrooned base. Manufactured by the Coalbrookdale Company, Ironbridge, Shropshire and impressed underneath with the manufacturer's details: No.113222 C-B-DALE Co No.175.

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
