Summary

Late 19th century large black cast iron bread (?) oven built into the wall. Single arched oven door, studded and fitted with brass knob handles and vent. Fire box with rectangular door above a second similar door to a cinder box below.

Provenance

Attingham collection; bequeathed to the National Trust with the estate, house and contents of Attingham by Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick (1877-1947) on 15th May 1953.
