Summary
Rectangular red morocco leather case in the shape of a book with a hinged cover. Red velvet interior. To house an impression of the Great Seal of Queen Elizabeth attached to a Letters Patent document which the 8th Baron Berwick had purchased through Maggs Bros Ltd from Sotheby's Lot 345 for £11.10.00 (plus commission) in 1938. The morocco leather box was ordered in 1938 from Maggs Bros. Ltd. of Conduit Street, London by 8th Baron Berwick and contains the original invoice for the amount of £4.10.00., dated 28th July 1938.
