8-day mantel clock by Lesage of Paris in an ormolu case representing Bacchus on a howdah riding on an elephant. Raised on a rococo style base. Circular, engine turned silvered dial with Roman numerals and steel 'Breguet' hands. Circa 1850. Engraved on dial - LESAGE Rue Grange Bateliere, N.
